Personal Contaminant Exposure Evaluations

Personal exposures to airborne contaminants can be conducted in several ways.  The most common way to assess one’s exposure is by collecting breathing zone samples while the employee is performing the task which may expose him or her to a contaminant or contaminants.

Anyone with a concern about airborne chemical contaminants should contact the IHOS manager to discuss the concern and set up an on-site assessment of the workplace to determine what one is exposed to and if monitoring is recommended.
