Adam Fouche

Fouche is a 21-year veteran of UGA with most of his career spent at the UGA Police Department. During his time at the police department, he rose to the rank of deputy chief of police and was responsible for the planning, emergency response, and coordination of multiple large events and emergency incidents at UGA. He served on multiple interdisciplinary teams focused on the well-being, mental health, and success of UGA students. Fouche has taught first responders across the state on topics including legal issues, emergency medicine, mental health interventions, active shooter response, and leadership. Fouche developed and helps instruct the UGA Finance and Administration Mentoring for Operational Success program, an 80-hour leadership development curriculum for Finance and Administration leaders.​

​Fouche holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the UGA Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and a Master of Public Safety Administration from Columbus State University. He is a member of the UGA Institutional Review Board, the Georgia 4H Advisory Committee, and the executive leadership board for Project Safe, Inc.​
