The hazardous materials program provides services and assistance to students, faculty, and staff handling and producing hazardous waste. The EPA Code of Federal Regulations, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Georgia state law mandate many of the activities of the hazardous materials program including waste accumulation, storage, and disposal. Our staff is available to answer questions related to hazardous materials on campus and to assist with proper waste handling and disposal.
