Bill has worked with the Environmental Safety Division since 2006. He spent several years doing I.T. work in the private industry and working with the Georgia Power Company's Environmental Affairs Division. Bill is originally from Savannah, Georgia and spent many years growing up attending UGA football games, cheering on the dawgs.
Bill manages the Environmental Safety Division Information Systems Support Team and is the Chematix chemical inventory and waste management system administrator. Bill provides everything from general desktop support for the division to development and deployment of new modules within the Chematix system. ISS provides technical support and comprehensive training to lab staff in nearly 2000 chemical lab locations on the main campus in Athens as well as Griffin, Tifton and UGA’s coastal sites.
