How to Login to Chematix

Chematix Login Page

A valid UGA MyID is required to login to Chematix. If you do not have a UGA MyID, you can use this link to request one from EITS. EITS can also assist with MyID issues such as resetting passwords.

If you do have a valid UGA MyID, simply use the 'Click here to login with UGA Credentials' link on the Chematix landing page and you will be taken to a screen where you can login using UGA's Single Sign-On Service.

IMPORTANT: Make sure that you are using the latest version of your web browser. Chematix recommends using the latest versions of: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge.


Chematix uses the University of Georgia's Single Sign-On Service or UGA SSO. UGA SSO allows users with a UGA MyID to securely login to UGA applications with just their MyID Credentials. More information about UGA SSO can be found on this page. You can test logging into UGA SSO with your MyID here.

When using UGA SSO to sign-in to Chematix, you should see the red login button turn green to indicate that your login was successful and you will be taken to the Chematix homepage. From here you should be able to access your lab's inventory and submit waste pickup requests. Once you are logged into Chematix, you should remain logged in unless your session is inactive for approximately 30 minutes. To avoid being logged out while entering in large chunks of data into the database, we highly recommend that you submit your changes frequently so that your session stays active.

NOTE: If you do not see any options in the Inventory tab, it means that you have not been assigned to any lab locations. Please contact Chematix Support or use the chat feature to request access to your labs.
