Olivia received her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Science from the UGA in 2019. Because she loves a challenge and has a passion for safety, she is obtaining a master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Olivia enjoys all things Athens, the Great British Bake Off, and spending quality time with her husband and their two pets.
Olivia is the Assistant Safety and Compliance Officer for the Hazardous Materials department at ESD. She helps inform staff, faculty, and students in laboratories on campus about proper management strategies for handling their hazardous waste. She conducts RCRA (hazardous waste) inspections on campus and helps with large scale chemical lab cleanouts and closures, ensuring a safe relocation of chemical inventories.
