Born and raised in Athens, GA, Zach attended Georgia College & State University where he received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2016. For 3 years he worked for GCSU’s Financial Aid Department managing State Programs including the Hope and Zell Miller Scholarships. In 2019 he returned to Athens to work with the Environmental Safety Division at UGA.
Zach works with the Information Systems and Support team where he provides basic computer support to the Environmental Safety Division and shares responsibility for the chematix chemical inventory and waste management system. As a part of this group, Zach helps build, test, and implement changes to Chematix as well as provide support and training to the stakeholders on campus who use this system.
